De Jong & Lavino wants to maintain it’s strong position in the keymarkets we serve for years and therefor we did expand our delivery program and metal range.
Today we are your one-stop-shop partner with a project oriented focus.
Early 2021 we have expanded our delivery program with the product groups Stainless steel and Aluminum. In our warehouse in Franeker (The north of Netherlands) we stock 5083 Aluminum and 316L Stainless steel plates and/or profiles dedicated to the projects of our customer.
As we serve the marine industry with their special demand for coated plates since 1964 we have long term relationships with the specialists on the field of blasting and coating for years. As the process of our partners is completely NC controlled we can guarantee maximum adhesion of the coating on the plate surface.
Within our group and with our partners we also arrange cut to size parts and full kits. Our cutting company Prins in Haarlem is specialized in the cutting of thick construction steel and we work together with 5 other cutting companies all specialized in a certain area of the business. Our mission statement is; “your project, our strength”. We offer the following cutting services:
In our team of company’s we have skilled subcontractors for rolling and bending works of plates and profiles up to a maximum length of 12 m. We also work together with skilled shipbuilders specialized in the field of shell plate forming. Our team within our projects department is more than happy to inform you about the possibility’s we can offer.
We are highly experienced in worldwide deliveries of our products. Whether you want us to ship your goods by truck, container or even air transport we make sure that you receive the ordered specification in time and according agreement. We know how to deal with custom authorities as we are used to ship our products outside Europe. For example; “we ship around 40 truckloads per year to the UK”.
Most of our stock in Geldermalsen is produced with a 3.2 Material test certificate under class. We offer the complete door to door traceabillity of our material from Mill to tailor made parts. Due to a good cooperation with Class societys such as Lloyds, BV, DNV, ABS and Rina we can easily arrange reclassification processes or S-275 declarations.
Since 1964 de Jong & Lavino group is welknown of its great and wide varied stock in quarto sheets. In our warehouses in Geldermalsen, Antwerp and Haarlem we store around 35.000 tonnes of metal sheets dedicated to the markets we serve.
