De Jong&Lavino is opgericht in 1964 door de heren Lavino en de Jong. Sinds de oprichting is de onderneming gegroeid op een solide en gezonde basis en nu in 2022 is het bedrijf nog steeds in de handen van de familie Lavino. Het bedrijf heeft zich altijd aan de tijd en de veranderende vraag aangepast maar een ding is hetzelfde gebleven in de onderneming. De Rotterdamse no nonsense mentaliteit en de hoge mate van loyaliteit en vertrouwen waarin, vaak al, tientallen jaren wordt samengewerkt klanten, collega’s en leveranciers.
De Jong&Lavino was het eerste bedrijf dat is opgericht in de Jong&Lavino groep. In 1972 werd de Antwerpse metalen toegevoegd en de laatste acquisitie stamt uit 2013 toen Prins staal in Haarlem onderdeel werd van de Jong&Lavino familie. Samen vormen zij een hechte groep die op alle niveau’s in de keten een bijdrage kan bieden aan de projecten van onze klanten
De Jong & Lavino is founded in 1964 by mr. Meijer Lavino and Jo de Jong (sr). In 2021 the company is still family owned and the way we do business nowadays exudes still the no nonsense atmosphere of its founders.
Philosophy
De Jong & Lavino group is known as a ‘one-stop-shop’ in the wholesale steel and metal business and not without reason. Thanks to our enormous stock and the good collaboration we have with mills and cooperating supply chain partners, we can supply almost any product at the right time.
